As for my original audio drama, it is still on track. My current big project in preparation is building a sound proof booth or mic shield. Those tiny echoes that are picked up on a mic never bother you until you are recording for an audio show! Fortunately there are several (potentially) affordable designs and tips available for the build. I also know someone with a lot of experience with recording and he has given me a design of his own as well as tips about how to best implement the design. I'm probably going to modify whatever I end up doing so it can be collapsable.
I have just been selected as a finalist to write a script for one of my favorite audio shows, Star Trek: Excelsior. It was actually the script I least expected to be selected so I'm less prepared than I'd like to be… Oops! Still, I am one of three finalists and if selected the episode is set to premiere December 26, 2015 as a special. Wish me luck!
